How You Will Work

The Geographic Information Systems Analyst Intern will work on a hybrid model with on-site periods at The Henry Ford's campus in Dearborn, MI or other Metro Detroit locations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist with building interactive map experiences.
  • Develop impact and success stories.
  • Contribute to marketing and audience segmentation projects.
  • Work directly with the lead innovator and the Head of Analytics & Business Intelligence.

What You Should Have

  • A background in Geographic Information Systems, Urban Planning, Policy & Research, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in ESRI products such as ArcGIS, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Online and more.
  • Basic programming knowledge in Python, R, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Understanding of web APIs, handling JSON/XML.
  • Collaboration, curiosity, and willingness to ask for help.
