About the Event and Role

AECOM is hosting an exclusive invitation-only hiring event in New York, NY from October 15-17. The event includes a networking mixer on Wednesday evening and interviews on Thursday and Friday. This is a great opportunity for early career professionals to learn about opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2026.

Role Overview

The Entry-Level Security Engineer role at AECOM is part of the Transportation Business Line. The candidate will work with system engineers and domain experts to design CCTV, access control, intrusion detection systems, and their networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with system and network engineers on security systems design.
  • Develop system drawings, plans, and technical specifications under senior guidance.
  • Engage in continuous learning and share best practices with team members.
  • Work with internal and external engineering teams to ensure quality designs.

Qualifications

Minimum qualification includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Systems Engineering or relevant experience. Candidates must have demonstrated experience with systems or network design and be familiar with AutoCAD, PlanGrid, ProjectWise, and Bluebeam. A valid US Driver's License and US Citizenship are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in network based communication systems and security systems such as CCTV or Access Control is desirable.

Additional Information

This position is hybrid and requires scheduled in-office work in New York, NY. Offered compensation is approximately USD 80,000 yearly based on qualifications.
