Job Overview

Lensa is promoting a remote Engineer Intern role for DLB Associates. Launch your engineering career by joining a team that designs state-of-the-art data centers and various projects involving MEP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Production of Engineering Documents (60%): Assist in using AutoCAD and Revit, perform design tasks under supervision, review drawings, and support document production.
  • Pre-Construction Activities (15%): Survey existing conditions, prepare technical reports, and collect data for project documents.
  • Construction Activities (15%): Review shop drawings, organize responses to RFIs, and assist with punch lists and project closeout.
  • Reporting (10%): Prepare progress reports, update logs, and manage hours with company tools.

Requirements

Candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or architectural engineering from an ABET accredited institution and must be familiar with MS Office Suite alongside strong organizational and communication skills. The position requires effective remote work capabilities and adherence to company policies.

Physical Demands & Travel

The role requires occasional movement, the ability to handle equipment up to 25 pounds, and up to 10% travel across the US with mandatory in-person training sessions in New Jersey in June 2026.
