As an Electrical Design Engineer - Junior at Butler America, you will play a crucial role in performing electrical design, modeling, and drafting tasks for various aerospace applications. Job Overview
This role focuses on the detailed layout and design of assemblies and installations. You will be instrumental in creating electrical assemblies for components such as circuit breaker panels, and designing installations for critical systems like antennas, lights, and harness routing.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical design, modeling, and drafting for diverse aerospace components.
- Develop detailed layouts and designs for complex assemblies.
- Design electrical installations, including those for circuit breaker panels.
- Oversee the installation design of antennas and various lighting systems.
- Manage the detailed design and routing of electrical harnesses.
Required Experience & Skills
- 1-5 years of relevant work experience in electrical design.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Electrical Engineering degree preferred not).
- Proficiency in solid modeling and drafting.
- Required experience with CATIA V5, Capital, CCD/CADEX, 3DX, V6, CADRA.
- Experience with harness routing, antenna installation, light installation, and equipment installation.
- Experience with GD&T is a plus.
- Capital Harness experience is a plus.
