About the Role

Lensa brings you the opportunity for a Cytogenetics Lab Supervisor position with Labcorp. This role is remote, and requires you to supervise a cytogenetics team handling prenatal, blood chromosomes, and tissue analyses in a fast-paced, customer-focused laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations and staff within the Cytogenetics team.
• Train, mentor and manage laboratory personnel.
• Monitor workflow, schedule coverage, and resolve production errors.
• Engage in process improvements and maintain quality assurance records.
• Perform bench work as needed while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biological sciences or related fields, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technologist (7 years preferred). Cytogenetics analysis expertise and previous leadership experience are highly preferred. Certification (ASCP or AMT) and familiarity with CLIA, CAP, and state regulations are important.

Work From Home Requirements

Applicants must have a dedicated, HIPAA compliant home office and a stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 100 mb/sec. This remote role may involve work travel up to 7 times per year.
