About the Cyber Security Intern Role
Lensa, partnering with Lockheed Martin Corporation, is promoting a Cyber Security Intern position. In this role, you will support cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and updating mitigation strategies. You will work alongside the Cyber team, representing Cyber functions in collaborative engagements with non-Cyber teams to identify requirements and verify compliance with hardware/software specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support risk assessments and vulnerability analysis
- Contribute to the development of Cyber plans and procedures
- Represent the Cyber team in cross-departmental engagements
- Assist in ensuring compliance with defined specifications
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Enrollment in a Cyber Engineering or related degree; general understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and vulnerability analysis; US Citizenship with ability to obtain an Interim US clearance.
Desired Skills
- Strong technical writing
- Experience with Windows or Linux operating systems
- Scripting skills in Python, shell/bash, or PowerShell
- Team collaboration and hands-on troubleshooting
- Embedded systems and software development experience
- Knowledge of open-source intelligence methods and cyber-hardening standards

This Summer 2026 Intern role is a part-time, onsite position at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
