Overview

Responsibilities
- Support administration, continuous monitoring, and reporting using cyber tools.
- Leverage industry best practices to enhance security posture.
- Provide technical support to monitor, mitigate, and track security incidents.
- Assist in cybersecurity enterprise architecture development and documentation.
- Perform software assessments focusing on risk identification and mitigation.
- Manage Office 365 Exchange quarantine and web proxy whitelist requests.
- Oversee email alerts and triage security issues.
Qualifications
- Experience with vulnerability management using Nessus Security Center.
- Ability to build strong relationships across teams.
- Independent work ethic with strong documentation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- 2+ years in Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- 2+ years administrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- 2+ years with Splunk Enterprise and Tenable Nessus.
Desired Skills
- Experience with STIG hardened Red Hat Linux environments.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and related change management processes.
- Experience with tools like Nutanix, CyberArk, SailPoint, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, and F5 Big IP.
- Advocacy for process improvement in team and government settings.
Education & Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- CompTIA Security+ or other cybersecurity certification.
- Must be eligible to hold a Public Trust clearance.
Work Location & Compensation
This position is remote within the USA. The suggested pay ranges from $75,546 to $88,875, with additional compensation factors considered on offer.
