Role Objective
The Compliance Officer Advisory oversees the Compliance Management System. Acting as an independent evaluator, the role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as internal policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide compliance guidance across multiple business units including fintech and payments.
- Implement and communicate changes in laws and regulations.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop corrective action plans.
- Train management and employees, responding to compliance queries.
- Review marketing materials for compliance and support merger/acquisition related responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required is a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years in banking or financial services with compliance, audit, or risk management experience. Preferred qualifications include a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification and experience in fintech payments. Strong communication, analytical, and technical skills (including Microsoft Office proficiency) are essential.
Work Environment and Compensation
Working primarily in an office setting with a hybrid schedule (2-3 quarterly in-office visits). The compensation range is between $86,000 and $115,000, complemented by benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, and more.
