About The Role

The Assistant Buyer, Kids at Stitch Fix will support the buying and planning activities for the Kids team. You will collaborate with the buying team to assist with product selection, inventory management, financial and product strategy development, and vendor partnerships. This role involves analyzing business data, curating assortments from various brands, and presenting strategies to leadership and cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute merchandising strategies for Kids division.
• Assist in product selection, research, and inventory analysis.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate terms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Planning, Styling, and Marketing.
• Analyze sales data, forecasts, and client feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3+ years in buying or merchandising.
• Knowledge of retail math, market trends, and client preferences.
• Proficiency in Google Workplace Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25-30% of the time.

Compensation And Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision. Salary range is approximately $61,500 to $90,500 USD.
