Position Overview

At PNC, our people are our greatest differentiator. In the role of AML Sanctions Specialist, you will be part of the Risk, Change, Experience & Strategy (RCES) organization supporting the First Line of Defense Financial Crimes Compliance Office. You will report to the Quality Control team lead and support the Asset Management Group (AMG) business.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct QC reviews of KYC files for compliance with bank policies.
  • Ensure customer data, narratives, and documents are accurate and clearly documented.
  • Perform investigative research on AML and Sanctions red flags.
  • Communicate observations and concerns to the Team Lead.
  • Update AML and Sanctions policies and procedures as needed.

Job Duties

Implement Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions Programs, assist in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT ACT, and regulatory requirements, prepare compliance reports, and serve as a resource on compliance impacts. Independently challenge analyses and recommendations, coordinate compliance monitoring, and escalate issues properly.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and certifications.
  • Investigative experience in BSA/AML and Sanctions, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
