About the Role
Lensa is partnering with Ascension to promote this part time opportunity. As an After Hours Representative Part Time, you will support a 24/7 team by handling inbound calls, scheduling patient procedures, and performing clerical duties remotely.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls for patients, medical practices, and providers.
- Schedule patient procedures efficiently while gathering necessary information.
- Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.
- Coordinate activities for insurance pre-certification/authorization.
- Provide counseling regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of applicable experience. Experience in a healthcare setting and call handling in a remote environment is preferred. Familiarity with systems like Genesys, Epic, Athena, Salesforce is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation
Sunday-Sunday shifts with hours from 6:00am-9:00am during weekdays and 5:45am-2:15pm on weekends (Central Time). This is a 20-hour per week position with an hourly rate between $17.37 and $23.50.
