About the Account Executive - Mid-Market Role

Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute go-to-market sales within assigned Northeast accounts.
- Develop and manage pipeline to exceed quota using accurate forecasting.
- Build trusted relationships with DOTs, MPOs, counties, cities, consultants, and channel partners.
- Collaborate with engineering, customer success, and partner teams for full-stack solutions.
- Manage complex deals through specification, procurement, and funding cycles.
- Provide detailed forecasting using Salesforce and maintain opportunity hygiene.
- Lead or support partner engagement with reps, distributors, and resellers.
- Conduct regular customer meetings, demos, and presentations.
- Relay market feedback and trends to cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5+ years of sales experience.
- Experience in transportation, infrastructure technology, or public sector SaaS/hardware.
- Strong customer relationship skills with proven quota management.
- Ability to navigate government procurement and RFP processes.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
- Preference for candidates with ITS, traffic sensors, analytics software, or SaaS experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary between $100,000 and $115,000, plus quarterly commissions. Benefits include 401(k) with immediate matching, open PTO, comprehensive medical coverage, life insurance, disability coverage, education assistance, and in-house training programs.
