About the Role

As the Chief Architect, AI Engineering, you will define and deliver the end-to-end architecture of Lenovo's next-generation AI ecosystem. This role covers the full AI stack including user-facing experiences, agentic orchestration, knowledge systems, perception, model runtimes, and supporting platform services.

Responsibilities

  • Own architecture for software development and delivery of AI features.
  • Ensure performance, security, observability, and compliance across millions of devices.
  • Guide cross-device and cloud integration with hybrid execution.
  • Define standards for release engineering, pipelines, and governance.
  • Mentor senior engineers and ensure global team alignment.

Basic and Preferred Qualifications

15+ years in software engineering and architecture with experience in large-scale production systems. Preferred experience includes architecting cross-device runtimes (Windows + Android), cloud integration, OTA rollouts, complex distributed systems, and deep expertise in Microsoft and Azure ecosystems.

Additional Information

Base salary range: $230K - $330K, with bonus/commission potential. Application deadline is October 27, 2025. Lenovo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
