Overview
We are Lenovo, a US$69 billion global technology powerhouse known for delivering Smarter Technology for All. Join us as a Manufacturing Production Manager, leading high volume, fast-paced server manufacturing operations in Whitsett, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning and Execution: Create and manage production schedules, allocate resources, and optimize workflows.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control systems and resolve defects.
- Supervision and Leadership: Manage production teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process enhancements.
- Resource Management: Oversee material procurement, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Budget and Cost Control: Estimate costs, manage budgets, and identify savings.
- Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with departments to align production with business needs.
Basic Qualifications
BS in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years in manufacturing operations, preferably in electronics or server manufacturing. Proficiency in manufacturing processes, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills. Familiarity with MS Office Suite and ERP/WMS platforms. This role is for Second-Shift.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Electronics/Server Manufacturing, ISO, Lean, and Six Sigma certifications with a track record of cost-effective operations and surpassing KPIs.
