Staff Software Engineer at LendingTree
You will be the technical lead on the design and build phases of projects, leveraging your knowledge of architectural patterns, software delivery, and continuous deployment. You will work closely with senior technical experts at LendingTree to mentor engineers and design software solutions for complex technology products.
The Position
This role requires you to lead the design, development, and execution of complex technical solutions. You will provide technical guidance, assist in maintenance and upgrades, participate in design reviews, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products through all phases of the SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and execution of technical solutions.
- Provide software design and development guidance.
- Maintain and upgrade existing software applications.
- Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements.
- Support all phases of SDLC for high-quality delivery.
- Mentor and train junior and senior engineers.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues promptly.
- Develop effective technical solutions meeting business needs.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute tasks with team collaboration.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Object-Oriented Programming experience.
- Experience in enterprise platform development.
- Proven leadership with mentorship skills.
- Knowledge of Agile environments.
- C# or .NET expertise preferred.
- Docker experience preferred; RabbitMQ a plus.
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field.

Compensation & Benefits
Base pay for this position in Seattle, New York, Colorado, or California ranges from $135,000 to $175,000 based on experience and internal factors. Additional benefits include an annual bonus, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) matching, life insurance, pet insurance, and competitive paid time off.
