About Data & AI Lead at LeMiCi IQ

LeMiCi IQ is seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Data & AI Lead to drive enterprise-wide data and AI initiatives. The candidate will design and execute a long-term roadmap to transform the organization into a data-first, AI-powered enterprise. This role covers data architecture, advanced analytics, AI/ML engineering, MLOps, governance, and applied AI use case delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data & AI Strategy: Define and implement enterprise-wide data and AI strategies and roadmaps including emerging technologies and responsible AI practices.
  • Data Architecture & Engineering: Lead architecture modernization for data platforms, develop ETL/ELT pipelines, and collaborate with cloud teams.
  • AI/ML Development & Deployment: Oversee machine learning model lifecycle, implement MLOps frameworks, and ensure robust AI model deployment.
  • AI & Data Governance: Establish frameworks to ensure compliance with global data and AI regulations and best practices.
  • Applied AI & Business Solutions: Collaborate with business units to deliver enterprise-scale AI-driven applications.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Build and mentor a diverse team of data and AI professionals and drive a culture of innovation.
  • Emerging Technology & Innovation: Evaluate multi-modal AI systems and pilot next-gen AI solutions.

Technical Competencies Required

  • Programming: Python, R, Java/Scala and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Big Data: Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift.
  • Cloud & MLOps: AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI, MLflow, Kubeflow.
  • Data Streaming: Kafka, Kinesis, Pulsar.
  • NLP & LLMs: Tokenization, transformers, fine-tuning, RAG.
  • Visualization: PowerBI, Tableau, Superset.
  • AI Governance: SHAP, LIME, bias detection frameworks.

Qualifications and Attributes

Minimum 6-8 years of experience with progressive leadership in data engineering and AI/ML. A relevant degree advanced technical expertise along with the skill to lead cross-functional teams is required. Experience in operationalizing enterprise-scale AI projects and strong communication skills with senior stakeholders are essential.
