Your New Role And Responsibilities
CIO Services currently has an opening for a Service Desk Support Assistant to work in our Scoresby, Victoria office for three months. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience supporting the Knowledge team, with additional support provided to the IT Service Desk as required.
You will support the Client Services support teams by creating and maintaining clear, user-focused IT knowledge. Maintain documentation quality and consistency, while assisting with ticket workflows that help deliver IT support and corporate workplace services to end users.
- Create and update IT knowledge articles and standard operating procedures
- Review and refine documentation for clarity and accuracy
- Maintain internal guidance and support content
- Align knowledge assets with corporate IT standards
- Assist with Service Desk ticket triage and admin
What You’ll Bring To Make An Impact
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and well‑structured documentation.
- Basic computer literacy and an interest in IT services, documentation, and corporate workplace environments.
- Previous IT or technical writing experience is not required.
- There is no formal education requirement for this role; however, candidates who are currently studying or have recently completed a relevant degree in Information Technology, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work full‑time onsite at Scoresby, VIC
