Job Description
Resource Management Coordinator
Leidos Health and Services Sector is seeking a remote Resource Management Coordinator to support the Military OneSource mission. This program offers 24/7 support services, including information, resources, education, referrals, and counseling, to approximately 4.7 million participants worldwide, comprising military service members, their families, and eligible civilians. Military OneSource serves as a comprehensive support system, providing a single point of contact for resources and information.
Key Responsibilities
The Resource Management Coordinator will collaborate closely with Field Consultants to identify educational materials, products, and referral information for development and approval by the Program office, ensuring alignment with the needs of Service members and their families. This role involves assisting in the identification, development, and maintenance of resource documents, ensuring all materials are routed through Content Developers and Coordinators for necessary government approvals before inclusion in the resource library.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops and implements resource allocation plans for efficient resource utilization.
- Maintains accurate records and databases for tracking resource allocation and utilization.
- Monitors resource usage to identify areas for adjustments or reallocations.
- Coordinates staff assignments, including hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
- Collects and analyzes resource utilization data, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identifies opportunities for process improvements in resource management and allocation.
- Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures for resource management.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience in identifying, developing, and managing military educational materials, products, and referral information.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement resource allocation plans that optimize the use of personnel, equipment, and operational assets while supporting organizational priorities and operational efficiency.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and databases to track resource allocation and utilization, and to collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to coordinate staff assignments (hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling) and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, while identifying opportunities to improve resource management processes.
- Strong customer service skills, and knowledge of the military lifestyle and culture.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft-based tools (Word, Outlook, Excel), web-based research, and electronic documentation systems.
- U.S. citizenship and fluency in English are required.
- Ability to successfully pass criminal history, fingerprint background checks, and credential verification.
- Ability to maintain and retain suitability investigation and clearance as required.
- Military spouse or former Service member required for certain consultation programs, as applicable.
- Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms.
- This position requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential workspace, and reliable high-speed internet (coax or fiber to the home). Mobile hotspot or wireless ISP is not acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Military spouse, military affiliation, and/or experience in the military community is highly desirable.
- Employee assistance program (EAP) experience.
