- Assist in launching and maturing a Data Governance Catalog, including metadata onboarding, business glossary development, and stewardship alignment.
- Partner with Data Stewards and Data Owners to document data definitions, ownership, classifications, policies, and quality rules.
- Create and maintain governance documentation, standards, training materials, and operating procedures.

- Support metadata and governance practices that enable AI readiness, including data classification, lineage completeness, and integration of quality signals required for AI use cases.
- Understanding of Data Governance frameworks, operating models, and stewardship concepts.

- Experience with workflow automation or scripting (e.g., SQL, Python, Groovy, REST APIs) to support metadata validation, governance automation, or reporting.
- Experience supporting unstructured data governance initiatives.
- Prior experience in government, federal, or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with Logical and Physical Data Modeling (LDM/PDM) concepts and ability to interpret data models to support governance, metadata management, and data quality rule definition.
