Joining Legora means becoming part of a team dedicated to empowering lawyers with technology that truly understands them, building from first principles, and accelerating change in a high-stakes, high-impact domain.
We’re not just shaping the future of legal tech — we’re defining it. Ready to join us in building the intelligent future of law?
The Role: Legal Engineering Associate EMEA
This Legal Engineering Associate EMEA role is positioned at the intersection of law, technology, and product, focusing on supporting SMB clients across the EMEA region. You will be instrumental in helping lean legal teams, often without dedicated innovation or operations functions, adopt and effectively scale Legora’s solutions to achieve rapid and tangible outcomes. This position requires close collaboration with Legal Engineers, Customer Success, Product, and Go-To-Market teams, guiding clients from initial value realization to repeatable, efficient workflows, while also feeding valuable client insights directly into the product evolution process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SMB client onboarding, pilots, and adoption across EMEA, ensuring clients achieve value quickly and confidently.
- Configure and execute standard use cases end-to-end using templates, such as contract review, document analysis, and drafting workflows, refining them based on user feedback.
- Deliver clear, tailored demonstrations and training to diverse audiences, from daily users to decision-makers, emphasizing the impact and "why" of each feature.
- Capture comprehensive user insights and translate them into actionable product feedback, contributing to improvements that enhance the platform's scalability and intuitiveness.
- Document best practices and contribute to the development of playbooks, ensuring consistent, excellent outcomes for a growing SMB client base.
- Own discrete workstreams within wider client programs, managing timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations with increasing autonomy.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a curious, structured, and adaptable individual who thrives in ambiguity while consistently delivering high-quality results. Ideal candidates will possess:
- Exposure to and interest in law: Completed an LLB (2:1) or equivalent, complemented by some legal work experience (e.g., paralegal, trainee, intern, in-house placement).
- Experience level: 0–2 years of professional experience.
- Tech-curious and product-minded: An eagerness to experiment with AI tools, quickly learn product features, and iterate on workflows, including basic prompt engineering, without necessarily needing to code.
- Strong communicator: Ability to clearly and confidently translate between legal professionals and technologists, adapting communication style as needed.
- Analytical and detail-oriented: Capable of evaluating outputs, identifying issues, and proposing pragmatic solutions.
- Proactive and reliable: Consistently follows through on tasks, manages expectations effectively, and understands when to escalate risks or blockers.
- Comfortable with SMB dynamics: A clear understanding that SMB clients prioritize speed-to-impact, clarity, and practical guidance over lengthy change programs.
What Success Looks Like (Associate Level)
- Executing defined client deliverables with growing autonomy, supporting multiple pilots simultaneously.
- Independently configuring standard use cases using templates, clearly explaining setups to users, and capturing concise feedback.
- Delivering impactful demos, especially for new features to existing clients, followed by clear summaries and next steps.
- Managing specific workstreams within broader programs—including owners, dependencies, and deadlines—and adapting quickly to changing constraints.
- Building strong trust with stakeholders through responsiveness, clarity, and reliable delivery.
- Articulating credibly how AI is influencing legal work and connecting these implications to Legora’s specific capabilities.
A few more things
Legora is fast-growing, and this is a role with real autonomy and responsibility. If you’re excited by building from first principles, learning quickly, and helping SMB legal teams transform how they work—this is the moment.
