Role Overview

As a Senior Payroll Consultant on the UK PRT Client Services team at Legal & General, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of pensioner payrolls, from loading schemes and managing payments to supporting brokers, Trustees and scheme members.

What You'll Be Doing

• Loading pensioner schemes and amendments onto payment systems.
• Managing buy-in payments and true-up calculations.
• Supporting brokers, Trustees, and members with complex schemes.
• Ensuring benefits and payments align with specifications.
• Testing and documenting processes for consistency.
• Communicating key updates to stakeholders.
• Creating efficient processes with full audit trails.
• Supporting and training team members in new procedures.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has an understanding of defined benefit pension schemes, works well under tight deadlines, and demonstrates clear communication. Knowledge of GDPR, Money Laundering, and Treating Customers Fairly is essential. You should be customer-focused, data proficient (especially Excel), and experienced with core administrative systems.
