About the Role
Ledcor Properties is seeking a passionate and results-driven Project Manager Residential Construction to lead multiple exciting wood frame construction projects in Vancouver, BC. You will oversee projects from the ground up, including pre-construction planning, permitting, on-site execution, and final handoff. This role drives timelines, manages budgets, and ensures top-tier quality and safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage all construction phases including startup, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, invoicing, and closeout.
- Serve as the on-site representative, advising leadership and attending construction meetings.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and authorities.
- Develop and monitor budgets ensuring financial accuracy and cost control.
- Create and update project schedules to maintain timelines.
- Manage contracts and documentation, including change orders, RFIs, pay apps, and vendor agreements.
- Oversee quality control ensuring compliance with design, specifications, and building codes.
- Identify and mitigate risks while enforcing job site safety and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver detailed project reports on budget, schedule, safety, quality, and risk to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in wood-frame and concrete multi-family or mixed-use construction.
- Wood frame construction experience required; concrete construction experience is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge in construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current methods.
- Proficient in contract negotiation and administration.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in building high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in identifying constructability challenges and developing practical solutions.
Working Conditions and Compensation
