Job Overview
The Project Coordinator - New Graduate January 2026 at Ledcor is responsible for ensuring that day-to-day project operations run smoothly. You will assist in estimating projects, developing execution strategies for powerline construction projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Essential Responsibilities
- Promote the overall Ledcor site safety program.
- Assist in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations.
- Support project start-up activities including site trailer/office setup and filing systems.
- Maintain project records, prepare correspondence, and track milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate RFI processes and support project scheduling with the Project Manager.
- Assist with procurement, project close-out, and documentation archiving.
- Perform regular project control and reporting activities.
Qualifications
Applicants should have completed a Degree or Diploma in Engineering. Up to 2 years of related work experience is an asset. Candidates should display strong written and communication skills, be proficient in MS Word and Excel, and able to read construction documents. Travel across Western Canada and participation in varied work environments (office, shift, camp, outdoor) is expected.
Working Conditions
This position is office-based when not on projects. Project work may require travel and working on remote sites throughout Western Canada with typical shifts of 14 days on and 7 days off.
