Essential Duties
- Responsible for developing client relationships, including the generation of deposits.
- Acquire clients and network with centers of influence to build relationships by providing superior client service to achieve financial objectives.
- Be highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and passionate about growing a business in a team environment.
- Build and maintain close relationships with clients and business partners.
- Educate and present prospects, clients, and partners on the benefits offered by the bank.
- Provide concierge service experience to clients, including responding quickly to inquiries, offering financial guidance, and developing banking solutions.
- Meet with clients and business partners in-person, virtually, and through other networking opportunities, groups, and events to build relationships and grow business.
- Identify potential business opportunities through external referral sources.
- Work individually and as a team to create strategies and marketing opportunities to help promote the brand.
Skills & Competencies
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of bank policies and processes, providing quick and accurate responses to client and partner inquiries.
- Possess a high level of understanding of products and services provided by the Bank.
- Be fluent in banking with extensive experience working with business banking clients.
- Skilled in selling and referring bank products and services within established guidelines.
- Adept at reaching out to prospects and partners to grow business; must maintain a pipeline and actively manage prospect and client lists.
- Conduct business in a professional manner.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all personnel.
- Participate in community projects and organizations as requested, demonstrating a willingness to accept added duties and responsibilities.
- Understand and adhere to security and compliance policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities (completing CTRs, adhering to CIP Policy, reporting suspicious activity, performing OFAC checks).
Requirements Include
- Bachelor’s degree, CFP, CTFA a plus.
- Minimum 10 years business banking experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to think outside the box.
- Independent contributor expected to manage own book of business as well as retain and effectively manage clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
- General computer knowledge a must with prior banking applications experience preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and possess a strong attention to detail.
