Admissions Nurse Staff Development Part Time
The Admissions Nurse is responsible for assisting with admissions for the Healthcare Department while also providing ongoing educational training and staff development at Foulk Living. This part-time role requires flexibility in evening hours and involves RN duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with patient admissions and coordinate healthcare intake processes.
- Plan and conduct healthcare education sessions for new hires and existing staff.
- Develop and implement training programs in line with state regulations.
- Recruit expert instructors and utilize community resources for certifications.
- Manage and maintain training records and mandatory healthcare requirements.
- Perform additional RN tasks as necessary.
- Support a positive, healthy, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nursing license is required along with training and development experience in long-term care. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and teaching skills along with computer literacy are necessary.
Work Schedule & Conditions
This part-time position involves 30 hours per week over 5 days with flexible evening hours (e.g., 12pm-6pm, 1pm-7pm, or 2pm-8pm). Physical tasks include assisting in lifting residents and using appropriate PPE.
