Overview

The Manager, Master Data Management role at LCBO is onsite at 100 Queens Quay East, 9th Floor, Toronto. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy, Innovation & Enterprise Analytics, you will spearhead the enterprise-wide Master Data Management strategy ensuring data quality, governance and integrity across systems.

About The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing master data improvement strategies.
  • Identifying process improvements through AI/ML integration and automation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align MDM processes.
  • Establishing best practices for master data management.
  • Triage Master Data requests and meeting defined SLAs.
  • Overseeing implementation and maintenance of MDM tools and systems.
  • Designing robust data quality processes and metrics.
  • Leading cleansing, enrichment initiatives and automated quality checks.
  • Guiding the MDM team and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Operationalizing data governance forums and committees.
  • Supporting development and maintenance of data governance policies.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, with 5+ years of experience in data management and 2+ years in leadership. Certifications such as CDMP, proficiency in data analysis tools, experience with MDM software (Informatica IDQ) and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server) are required. Familiarity with ERPs including SAP and Business Central and proven ability in managing complex data projects is essential.
