Technology Analyst

Lazard is seeking an Analyst with relevant experience (investment banking internship or full time experience) to join the Technology team in San Francisco. As an integral member of a focused group, you will receive meaningful exposure to both senior bankers and client executives. Technology Analysts work on a variety of strategic transactions for leading and emerging companies spanning the following verticals: Software, Internet, Hardware, and Semiconductors. Lazard is differentiated among leading investment banks in our history of investing in employees and developing them into successful senior bankers.

What You'll Do

• Create and prepare client presentations and marketing materials.
• Build complex financial models and perform valuation and other analytical exercises.
• Conduct detailed industry research and competitive analyses.
• Execute deal processes, support due diligence, and liaise with clients or other advisors.

What You'll Need

• Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise.
• Prior investment banking work experience and a passion for the Technology industry.
• Strong quantitative background and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, FactSet, Bloomberg, and Pitchbook.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture.
