Job Description:

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the assembly of fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and miscellaneous enclosures. This role is very detail-oriented and requires preparing, positioning, assembling, and verifying parts that go into creating our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret instructions such as work orders and diagrams.
  • Fabrication and installation of flexibar as required.
  • Installation of larger power wires including retrieving and crimping.
  • Inspection of parts to comply with quality standards.
  • Communicate/document with supervision as required.
  • Become familiar with 3-D solid model viewers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Assembly experience in manufacturing or transferrable mechanical experience.
  • Ability to read assembly drawings and follow direction.
  • Ability to use hand tools & wire crimpers.
  • Pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude required.

Preferred:

  • Electrical assembly experience.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting and handling heavy parts up to 30 lbs.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, or climb.
  • Hand dexterity is essential.

Schedule (2nd Shift):

Monday-Thursday 2:00 pm to 12:30 am, ½ hour unpaid lunch and 2 paid breaks.
