Job Title: Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift

As a Mechanical Assembler at LayerZero Power Systems, Inc., you will be responsible for assembling fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and miscellaneous enclosures. This detail-oriented role requires preparing, positioning, assembling, and verifying parts that form our products.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, diagrams, wire lists, and verbal instructions.
• Fabricate and install flexibar as required.
• Install larger power wires including crimping and heat sleeve shrinking.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Communicate and document with supervision as required.
• Familiarize with 3-D solid model viewers.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should have assembly experience in manufacturing or transferable mechanical skills, the ability to read drawings, and proficiency with hand tools and wire crimpers. A background check and drug screen are necessary, along with reliable attendance, respect for others, and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in electrical assembly, excellent documentation skills, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with various computer programs.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle parts up to 30 lbs.
• Stand for an entire eight-hour shift.
• Bend, squat, kneel, or climb as needed.
• Reach above and forward at least 18 inches.
• Possess hand dexterity and good vision.

Schedule (2nd Shift)

Monday-Thursday, 2:00 pm to 12:30 am with a ½ hour unpaid lunch and 2 paid breaks.
