Position: Mechanical Assembler (1st Shift)

This role involves assembling fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and miscellaneous enclosures. The Mechanical Assembler will prepare, position, assemble, and verify parts with detail-orientation and precision.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, diagrams, wire lists, and verbal directions.
• Fabricate and install flexibar as required.
• Install larger power wires including retrieving, crimping lugs, and heat sleeve shrinking.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Communicate and document with supervision as needed.
• Familiarize with 3-D solid model viewers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assembly or related mechanical experience.
• Ability to read assembly drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and wire crimpers.
• Ability to handle intricate parts.
• Pass background check and drug screen, reliable attendance, respectful, and positive attitude.

Preferred

• Electrical assembly experience.
• Excellent documentation and attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate computer programs.

Physical Requirements & Shift Details

• Lift and handle parts up to 30 lbs.
• Stand for full 8-hour shift; bending, squatting, kneeling or climbing as needed.
• Reach above 18 inches with good vision and hand dexterity.
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with breaks and unpaid lunch.
