Position: Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift

This role involves the assembly of fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and enclosures. The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for preparing, positioning, assembling, and verifying parts while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, diagrams, wire lists, and verbal directions.
• Fabricate and install flexibar as needed.
• Install larger power wires including retrieving, crimp lugging and heat sleeve shrinking.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Document and communicate with supervision.
• Familiarize with 3-D solid model viewers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assembly manufacturing or transferable mechanical skills.
• Ability to read assembly drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools and wire crimpers.
• Attention to detail and reliable attendance.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Preferred

• Electrical assembly experience.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Familiarity with various computer programs.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle parts up to 30 lbs.
• Stand for up to 8 hours.
• Bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder as required.
• Reach above and forward at least 18 inches.
• Use hand dexterity to install small hardware.
• Good vision for inspection tasks.

Schedule (1st Shift)

Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and 2 paid breaks.
