Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift
The Mechanical Assembler at LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. will assemble fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and enclosures. The role requires high attention to detail and mechanical ability to prepare, position, assemble, and verify parts.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret work orders, diagrams, and instructions.
- Fabricate and install flexibar and larger power wires.
- Inspect parts and assemblies against quality standards.
- Communicate and document with supervision as required.
- Interpret 3-D solid model viewers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior assembly or mechanical experience.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and use hand tools.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
- Reliable attendance and respectful demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical assembly experience.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Competency in using various computer programs.
Physical Requirements & Shift Details:
The role requires lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for an eight-hour shift, and performing tasks like bending, reaching, and kneeling. The 2nd Shift runs Monday-Thursday from 2:00 pm to 12:30 am with breaks.
