Job Title: Mechanical Assembler (1st Shift)

This position is responsible for assembling fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and miscellaneous enclosures. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, mechanical skills, and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, diagrams, and wire lists for assembly sequencing.
• Fabricate and install flexibar as required.
• Install larger power wires with crimp lugging and heat sleeve shrinking.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Document and communicate with supervision as needed.
• Familiarize with 3-D solid model viewers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in assembly or transferable mechanical experience.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and follow instructions.
• Proficiency using hand tools and wire crimpers.
• Ability to handle intricate parts and pass a background check and drug screen.
• Reliable attendance, respectful demeanor, and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical assembly experience.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate various computer programs.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle parts up to 30 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (entire eight-hour shift).
• Bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder.
• Reach above and forward at least 18 inches.
• Demonstrate hand dexterity and visual acuity for inspecting parts.

Schedule (1st Shift)

Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a ½ hour unpaid lunch and 2 paid breaks.
