Job Title: Mechanical Assembler (1st Shift)

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and miscellaneous enclosures. This detailed-oriented role involves preparing, positioning, assembling, and verifying parts essential to creating high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, diagrams, wire lists, and verbal directions.
• Fabricate and install flexibar components as required.
• Install large power wires, including crimping and heat sleeve shrinking.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Communicate and document with supervision as needed.
• Familiarize with 3-D solid model viewers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; experience in assembly or related mechanical work; ability to read assembly drawings; proficiency with hand tools and wire crimpers; attention to detail; ability to pass background check and drug screen; reliable attendance and positive attitude. Preferred skills include electrical assembly experience, excellent documentation, and familiarity with various computer programs.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle heavy parts up to 30 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (entire eight-hour shift).
• Bend, squat, kneel, or climb as required.
• Reach above and forward at least 18 inches.
• Possess hand dexterity and keen vision for inspections.

Schedule (1st Shift)

Monday-Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and 2 paid breaks.
