The Opportunity
As a Marketing Specialist - Email and SMS at Lavender, you will support lifecycle marketing efforts to generate business and increase brand loyalty. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing email, SMS, and targeted marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, conversion, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage campaigns guiding customers through every stage.
- Design, build, test, and execute multi-channel automated workflows.
- Manage campaign calendars, ensuring error-free, timely deployments.
- Ensure compliance with CPRA, HIPAA, and other regulations.
- Monitor sender reputation and manage email deliverability issues.
- Analyze customer data to identify key segments and trends.
- Manage ESP and marketing automation tools, collaborating with IT and stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze campaign performance data and conduct A/B testing.
- Report on appointments booked and leads converted through campaigns.
- Contribute to various marketing projects in a dynamic startup environment.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years in email/SMS marketing, segmentation, or customer lifecycle marketing. You must be creative, analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about direct response content and user-centric storytelling. Experience with responsive HTML/MJML templates, CRM systems (preferably ActiveCampaign), and understanding digital compliance and healthcare industry regulations is essential. Proficiency in Google Sheets, analytics, and reporting tools is required, along with excellent communication and project management skills.
