Your Impact and Responsibilities
As a Sales Development Representative on our team, your core responsibilities will include:
- Owning the generation of interest in LaunchDarkly through cold outreach and outbound prospecting.
- Conducting cold calls, leveraging LinkedIn, and sending emails to prospective customers within Target Accounts, utilizing Value Based Messaging.
- Qualifying and converting target prospects within our Target Customer Profile into introductory meetings with your Account Executives.
- Partnering and collaborating effectively with Account Executives on account strategy and pipeline creation.
- Meeting and maintaining specific daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas & KPIs to help achieve sales goals.
- Utilizing essential sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Nooks, Gong, Outreach, and Pocus.
Desired Skills and Experience (Bonus Points)
While not strictly required, candidates with the following will have an advantage:
- Previous training in Command of the Message & MEDDPICC.
- A strong love for learning, growth, and excelling in whatever you do – whether in sales or another field. We encourage you to share your awesome achievements!
- A demonstrated history of persistence and a strong sense of urgency.
Compensation and Benefits
The target pay range for a Level S3 Sales Development Representative in the Boston area is $86,000 - $119,000 On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes both base pay and commission. In addition to salary, LaunchDarkly provides Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits. We operate with high trust and transparency, providing clear pay ranges to align with your needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, degree level, and location.
