About The Job
LaunchDarkly is expanding its Mid-Market Account Executive team, seeking product-oriented, customer-focused, and sales-driven individuals. This Mid-Market Account Executive role involves collaborating with managers, sales engineers, and other resources to guide customers through testing, purchasing, and adopting LaunchDarkly. We are building this team with intelligent, creative, fun individuals possessing a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for both net new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Qualify and convert inbound leads at a rapid pace.
- Successfully prospect into Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) target accounts.
- Articulate and sell the value of LaunchDarkly’s platform subscriptions.
- Prepare for and run discovery sessions to convey core use cases and usage-based pricing value.
- Understand third-party architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) for accurate positioning and pricing.
- Customize and deliver demos with the Solutions Engineering team.
- Run proof of concepts for prospects.
- Own, build, and develop relationships with existing customers, demonstrating product usage and identifying new opportunities.
- Consistently hit revenue targets.
- Educate, evangelize, and guide customers through successful adoption of LaunchDarkly.
- Deliver customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product and processes.
- Keep all data in tools up to date (SFDC, Aviso, Outreach).
- Accurately forecast sales targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of full-cycle sales experience.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
- Highly organized and autonomous.
- Comfortable and energized operating in a fast-moving organization.
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
- Enthusiastic about learning and growing at LaunchDarkly.
- Intellectually curious and ambitious.
- Knowledge or experience in the developer tool space is a plus.
- Experience selling to mid-market companies is a plus.
