About the Corporate Account Executive Role at LaunchDarkly
LaunchDarkly is seeking product-oriented, customer-focused, and sales-driven individuals to significantly contribute to the expansion of our Corporate Account Executive team. This role involves direct collaboration with a manager, sales engineers, and other resources to ensure customers successfully test, purchase, and adopt LaunchDarkly's platform. We're looking for intelligent, creative, fun individuals with a strong work ethic to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Qualify and rapidly convert inbound leads.
- Successfully prospect into ICP target accounts.
- Articulate and sell the value of LaunchDarkly's platform subscriptions.
- Prepare for and conduct discovery sessions with new prospects to highlight core use cases and the value of our usage-based pricing model.
- Understand third-party architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) for accurate positioning and pricing of our usage-based model.
- Customize and deliver demos with the Solutions Engineering team.
- Run proof of concepts for prospects.
- Own, build, and develop relationships with existing customers, demonstrating product usage and capabilities, and developing new opportunities.
- Develop new opportunities from our existing customer base.
- Consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Educate, evangelize, and guide customers through successful adoption of LaunchDarkly.
- Deliver customer feedback to our product and engineering teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product and processes.
- Keep all data in tools updated (SFDC, Aviso, Outreach).
- Accurately forecast sales targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quota.
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
- Highly organized and autonomous.
- Comfortable and energized operating in a fast-moving organization.
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated.
- Enthusiastic about learning and growing at LaunchDarkly.
- Intellectually curious and ambitious.
- Knowledge or experience in the developer tool space is a plus.
- Experience selling to mid-market companies is a plus.
