Your Role as Senior Machine Learning Engineer Recommendation Systems

Your mission is to build, deploy, and optimize recommendation systems that power real-time personalization for millions of users daily, impacting engagement, retention, and revenue.

  • Design and deploy ML models serving 100M+ predictions daily.
  • Enhance data pipelines using tools like Spark, Beam, or Dask.
  • Develop ranking algorithms balancing relevance, diversity, and revenue.
  • Run rigorous A/B tests to measure business impact.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and analytics.

Must Have

  • 5+ years building and scaling production ML systems.
  • Experience deploying systems serving 100M+ predictions daily.
  • Strong background in ranking algorithms including collaborative filtering, learning-to-rank, and deep learning.
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Skilled with SQL and modern data warehouses and lakes.
  • Familiarity with distributed computing (Spark, Ray) and LLM/AI Agent frameworks.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms and experiment logging best practices.
