Position Overview: Litigation Attorney with AI Experience
Latitude is seeking an attorney with 5+ years of sophisticated litigation experience to support the knowledge management team of an AmLaw 100 law firm client. This role is crucial for the implementation of a firm-wide AI platform, where the attorney will serve as the firm’s subject matter expert in litigation. Leveraging a strong litigation background and comprehensive platform training, you will guide attorneys on the effective use of the AI platform to enhance legal workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert in litigation for the firm's new AI platform.
- Guide attorneys at the AmLaw 100 firm on the effective and strategic utilization of the AI platform.
- Achieve deep proficiency in the AI platform’s capabilities and functionalities.
- Collaborate actively on initiatives aimed at platform optimization and enhancement.
- Act as a trusted internal resource, answering substantive and practical questions related to litigation workflows and AI-enabled solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sophisticated litigation experience, preferably gained at a mid-to-large size law firm.
- Hands-on experience using AI legal platforms such as CoCounsel, Harvey, and/or Protégé is a significant plus.
- Licensed attorney in good standing in your state of residence.
- Outstanding professional references demonstrating legal expertise and collaborative spirit.
Position Details & Compensation
- Type of Role: Flexible, multi-month Contract Engagement
- Schedule: Available for Part-Time or Full-Time work arrangements.
- Location: Fully Remote; candidates may work from any location in the United States.
- Compensation: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $180,000 to $200,000 or more, calculated on a full-time basis.
- Benefits: All Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary professional liability insurance. W2 employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for full benefits, including Group Life, LTD, AD&D, a qualified 401k plan, and a CLE/Professional Expense stipend.
