In-House Counsel - Aviation Industry

Latitude Legal is partnering with a client in the aviation industry to find a part-time, remote In-House Counsel. This role will focus on commercial contracting, corporate/M&A matters, and lease review. The ideal candidate will possess over 4 years of experience, including previous in-house experience.

Requirements For The In-House Corporate Counsel

  • 4+ years of experience with commercial contracts, leases, and/or corporate M&A matters
  • Prior in-house counsel experience is required
  • Experience with the aviation industry or operations is a plus
  • J.D. and excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Outstanding professional references

Position Details Of The In-House Corporate Counsel

  • Type of role: Part-time, Remote Engagement
  • Schedule: Part-time (10-15 hours per week)
  • Location: Remote
  • Duration: ~6 months

Compensation

The annualized pay for this position ranges from $180,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference.

Benefits

Latitude attorneys receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. Employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for full benefits, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
