Construction Contracts Attorney
Latitude is seeking a Construction Contracts Attorney to review and negotiate construction contracts. The ideal candidate will possess over 4 years of construction transactional experience, gained in either a law firm or in-house setting. This is a contract engagement, offered as a benefits-eligible Latitude W2 employee position.
Basic Requirements For The Construction Contracts Attorney
- 4+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on commercial construction transactional work.
- Substantial experience reviewing and negotiating AIA and other commercial construction contracts.
- Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing.
- Outstanding professional references.
Position Details Of The Construction Contracts Attorney
- Type of role: Contract In-House Counsel
- Schedule: Full-time or Part-time

Compensation
- Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
- Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
