About The Role
The Partner Recruiting Assistant is a crucial part of Latham’s Partner Recruiting & Integration department. This role involves providing administrative assistance to support lateral partner and counsel hiring activities, under the direction of the supervisor and department leadership. This position is based in the London office and may be eligible for a flexible working schedule, combining hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key responsibilities for the Partner Recruiting Assistant include:
- Preparing initial drafts of correspondence for lateral partner and counsel candidates.
- Booking conference rooms and organizing video links for interviews.
- Liaising directly with candidates and/or headhunters, as well as with partners and colleagues both within and outside the department.
- Maintaining candidate databases and trackers, ensuring data is up-to-date and accurate while proactively correcting errors.
- Researching new technology and leveraging available solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Producing and maintaining agency terms and logging candidate introductions.
- Scheduling meetings and interviews, processing candidate reimbursements, and coordinating travel arrangements.

- Relevant administrative or professional office experience.
