Telehealth Nurse Practitioner at LaserAway
LaserAway is seeking a dedicated Telehealth Nurse Practitioner to provide Good Faith Exams (GFE) remotely. This role is crucial in ensuring patients receive necessary medical evaluations in licensed states, in collaboration with medical directors.
About the Role
As a Telehealth Good Faith Exam Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting remote Good Faith Exams in compliance with state regulations. You will work collaboratively with medical directors and adhere to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
- Conduct Good Faith Exams for patients in licensed states per protocol.
- Send in prescriptions under the guidance of Medical Directors.
- Apply for licensure in assigned states as directed by the Senior Director.
- Field calls from sales and patients via 8x8.
- Respond to inquiries on designated Slack channels (#remotemedical, #remotesales, #medical2, #gfe-and-va-team).
- Complete Medallia responses each shift.
- Must be willing to work afternoon/evening shifts (PST).
- Requires 4-5 days a week with a weekend requirement of 4-6 shifts per month.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited NP program with current board certification.
- Must possess a CA NP license upon application.
- Multi-state licensure is preferred, including CA + (HI, WA, OR, AZ, NV, CO, UT, ID, NM, TX, IL, OK, KS, TN, MN, MO, WI, NY, VA, MA, GA, DC, NC, MD, NJ, PA, CT, OH, IN, NE, MI, LA).
- Open availability, including evenings and weekends (PST).
- Compact license or multi-licensed preferred.
- Must reside in a compact state.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Must work from home in a quiet, private office.
- Strong internet connection is mandatory.
- Must be able to use FaceTime/Doximity for patient calls.
- Requires a phone for patient communication and a computer for charting.
