About the Role: Telehealth Nurse Practitioner
LaserAway is seeking a dedicated Telehealth Nurse Practitioner to conduct Good Faith Exams (GFE) in licensed states. This role operates remotely and is crucial for ensuring patients receive necessary medical evaluations in compliance with state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
- Conduct Good Faith Exams for patients in assigned states, adhering to protocols.
- Send prescriptions under the guidance of Medical Directors as per protocol.
- Apply for licensure in states assigned by the Senior Director.
- Respond to 8x8 calls from sales and patients.
- Address inquiries via Slack channels (#remotemedical, #remotesales, #medical2, #gfe-and-va-team).
- Complete a minimum of 5 Medallia responses per shift.
- Must be available for afternoon/evening shifts (PST).
- Work 4-5 days a week, including a requirement for 4-6 weekend shifts per month, depending on business needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited NP program with current board certification.
- Must possess a CA NP license upon application.
- Multi-licensed preferred, with a strong advantage for CA + (HI, WA, OR, AZ, NV, CO, UT, ID, NM, TX, IL, OK, KS, TN, MN, MO, WI, NY, VA, MA, GA, DC, NC, MD, NJ, PA, CT, OH, IN, NE, MI, LA).
- Open availability, including evenings and weekends (PST).
- Compact license or multi-licensed is preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Must work from home in a quiet, private office.
- Requires a strong and reliable internet connection.
- Must be able to conduct patient consultations via FaceTime/Doximity.
- Requires a phone for patient calls and a computer for charting.
