Job Description
Administrative Coordinator
The Treasurer & Public Trustee’s Office is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to provide essential administrative support as an Administrative Coordinator.
This role is responsible for delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers, managing phone communications, and preparing correspondence on behalf of the Treasurer, including letters, news releases, and promotional materials. Additional duties include ordering office supplies, processing payments, and supporting the management team. This position plays a key role in maintaining organized, efficient office operations.
The typical schedule for this Monday - Friday is 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Providing front-line customer service by answering phones and responding to taxpayer inquiries in a professional, timely manner.
- Supporting the management team with phone coverage and preparation of correspondence, including taxpayer communications, news releases, and mail merges.
- Processing payments accurately and providing backup support at the front counter as needed.
- Maintaining office operations by ordering supplies and processing invoices.
- Assisting with public information efforts, including social media content and community outreach.

What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of general office procedures and administrative practices.
- Proficiency in business software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and Canva.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and follow department and County policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Effective problem-solving skills, including identifying process improvements and efficiencies.
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
Qualifications
All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
- Five (5) years of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
