About The Role
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team at LangChain. In this role, you will work directly with enterprise customers to design, deploy, and optimize production-grade AI infrastructure and agent systems. You will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure infrastructure deployments and building reliable, well-evaluated agent applications that solve real business problems.
This role combines software development, infrastructure/platform engineering, and customer-facing skills. It involves work ranging from Kubernetes cluster design to multi-agent system architecture, requiring deep technical expertise in both infrastructure and agent engineering domains.
You will have a direct impact on customer success, shape best practices, and work with cutting-edge AI technology within a collaborative team environment that values a strong engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Platform Engineering: Design scalable, highly-available AI infrastructure using compute, storage, networking, and security best practices. Build enterprise integration patterns, use Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm), enforce multi-region HA/DR strategies, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Agent Engineering & Development: Architect and build multi-agent systems using modern frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph). Implement agent logic, design evaluation frameworks, optimize prompts with A/B testing, and integrate tool and API designs.
- Customer Engagement & Assessment: Lead technical assessments and audits; work directly with enterprise customers to gather requirements, present recommendations, and guide implementation alongside Engagement Managers and Product/Engineering teams.
Required Experience & What We Are Looking For
A minimum of 7+ years in technical, hands-on, customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, with experience in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code. Experience in building production AI/ML applications or agents is required, with strong skills in Python and/or TypeScript and familiarity with LLM frameworks.

Location & Compensation
Preferred locations include San Francisco and New York, although US remote candidates are welcome. The compensation package is competitive and includes a base salary, variable compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Salary ranges between $170K to $190K.
