About The Role
At Lambda Labs, as a Cloud Support Engineer I - Weekend Shift, you will join the frontline support team responsible for being the first point of contact for customers and addressing technical issues. You will triage and resolve support requests, document issues, and escalate as required while ensuring customer satisfaction and uptime.
Schedule
If hired outside California: Sunday - Wednesday, 8AM-6PM Central Time If hired in California: Sunday - Thursday, 7AM-4PM Pacific Time
What You’ll Do
- Handle incoming technical support with empathy and clarity.
- Troubleshoot OS, hardware and Lambda Stack issues.
- Triage, route, and escalate tickets with clear ownership.
- Assist in incident response and document common solutions.
- Collaborate with peers and provide actionable technical feedback.
You
- Have working knowledge of Linux (preferably Ubuntu).
- Communicate technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.
- Handle multiple customer interactions effectively.
- Be detail-oriented with accurate ticket triaging.
- Show a customer-first mindset with empathy and professionalism.
- Possess familiarity with GPU hardware or a willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
- Professional Linux administration in various environments.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, OCI or private cloud platforms.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Shell and Python scripting skills.
- Exposure to datacenter hardware and ticketing systems.
- Experience in 24/7 support or on-call rotations.
Compensation
This is a salaried non-exempt role with overtime eligibility. Salary range is set based on market data and candidate qualifications.
