Job Description
In a time of unprecedented expansion, Lakeshore is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Product Developer to join its RD&D New Product Development team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end ideation, development, and launch of educational furniture products. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and keen attention to detail to drive quality products.
A typical day includes:
- Analyzing market trends and sales data to drive product development.
- End-to-end ideation, development, and launch of educational products.
- Collaborating with designers, engineers, and overseas teams.
- Conducting market research and gathering customer insights.
- Serving as the spokesperson for projects and launch presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education.
- Experience in teaching and/or product development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong detail orientation, organizational skills, and teamwork.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex problems and providing solutions.
- Experience with presenting projects to leadership.
Additional Information
Lakeshore offers local market wages for employees in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. New employees typically earn an annual salary between 68,640 and 83,000 based on experience and skillset, with bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package including paid parental leave, excellent medical/dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company contribution, flexible benefits, on-site preschool, on-site gym, generous employee discounts, and casual dress.
