Staff Software Engineer
Our client, a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their team. This role will focus on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a consumer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
- Automate operational tasks and incident response workflows.
- Collaborate with developers on build, test, and deployment processes.
- Ensure security and compliance with SOX best practices.
- Document processes, runbooks, and architecture decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, etc.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Knowledge of SOX compliance processes and documentation.
