Principal Researcher, Health Implementation & Monitoring at Ladders
For our client, a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space, Ladders is seeking a Principal Researcher, Health Implementation & Monitoring. In this pivotal role, you will significantly contribute to delivering impactful outcomes for customers and stakeholders within the Education, Government & Non-Profit sectors. You will thrive in a collaborative cross-functional environment, taking full ownership of key priorities, and benefit from high visibility, substantial growth opportunities, and direct impact on federal health initiatives.
This is a remote position open to US-based candidates only, and visa sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of monitoring frameworks and performance metrics for federal health programs.
- Manage large-scale implementation and evaluation projects, ensuring compliance and quality deliverables.
- Direct collaboration with data teams to align indicators with data sources.
- Contribute to AIR's technical vision for federal health initiatives.
- Mentor junior staff and promote a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Economics, Health Services Research, or a related field, or a Master's degree with extensive relevant experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in research management or related work; or 11 years with a Master's degree.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience on complex projects.
- Direct experience with CMS operations, implementation, or evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policies.
